Jacqui graduated from the College of Charleston in 2019 with a bachelor of science in Business Administration and a minor in Entrepreneurship. She currently lives in the beautiful city of Traverse City, Michigan. Jacqui's love for the Great Lakes and oceans started when she was young, being a competitive swimmer by the age of eight and living near the water. Now, she is a passionate SSI certified scuba diver, PADI certified free diver, and Treasurer for the Surfrider Foundation Northern Michigan Chapter. After many cleanups with the Surfrider Foundation, Jacqui saw the alarming amounts of plastic found along the beaches, waterways, and in the ocean. She realized that she had to do something to keep these plastics out of the environment for good, so she developed For the Seas Co. where she hand makes unique pieces of art out of materials that would otherwise not be recycled.
